6th international competition of the Slovenian Harp Association

Between March 31st and April 2nd, 2023, Velenje Music School will host 6th international competition of the Slovenian Harp Association, which will be attended by a record number of competitors from twenty countries.

131 harpists will compete in seven age categories, and they will be judged by an internationally recognized expert commission consisting of Irina Zingg, Lenka Petrović, Patrizia Tassini, Sirin Pancaroglu, Diana Grubišić Ćiković, Maria Gamboz Gradišnik and Dalibor Bernatović.

We will start the competition with the opening concert of the winners of the previous competition, Oliver Wass (Great Britain) and Lisa Vandersmissen (Belgium). The concert will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. in the Marin hall of the Velenje Music School.

Since the competition is an important event for the development of harpist education in Slovenia, connecting with foreign harpists and forging new friendships, we would like you to be a part of our event.
